Motheo Takes
the World

The first world tour from the Johannesburg-born artist lands in twelve cities across three continents, closing with a homecoming at FNB Stadium that has been a decade in the making.

Every so often a tour stops being a schedule of shows and becomes the thing a whole season is measured against. This is one of those. Motheo's Global Arena Tour opens in North America this autumn, crosses the Atlantic for a European leg, and closes where the story began, at home in Johannesburg. Twelve cities. Three continents. One season that belongs to a single artist.

The numbers are already remarkable, and the run has not begun. A homecoming at FNB Stadium, a route that touches four of the world's great arenas, and a set built to travel from the first chord to the last. What follows is the front page of that story: the dates, the numbers, the noise, and the night itself.
